"theWord" is the current core text of the Earthist Society.The philosophy of the Society is extremely straight-foreward and simple. It comprises of three main tenets. Firstly, that the Earth must be protected from the ravages of human over-activity before it's finely tuned, ecological and geological symbiotic balance is irreversably disturbed leading to cataclysmic consequences. Secondly, that the Earth's problems cannot be effectively globally tackled without full co-operation and collaboration of all major world powers and the acceptance of all peoples of the world that climate change and its consequences are directly due to human activity and not, as millions currently believe, to ideas such as the retribution of God for human misdemeanors. Thirdly, that such collaboration is unlikely to take place without the creation of a Global Unity and shared purpose in the majority of the Earth's population which could only be possible through the abandonment of all divisive faiths, unproven religious beliefs and outdated religious dogmas which divide humanity today.
